All eyes have been on the skies over New Jersey, where reports of drones flying low and at night have sparked widespread speculation and concern among residents. While the Biden administration has downplayed the situation, a new theory has emerged that these drones could be equipped with advanced sensors designed to detect nuclear radiation. This theory, rooted in expert analysis and coinciding with elevated radiation levels in New York City, raises serious questions about what the government knows—and why they aren’t being more transparent with the public.
The sightings of drones in New Jersey and surrounding areas have been a source of anxiety for many. Reports of sightings at all hours have flooded in, with thousands of tips being sent to the FBI. The Biden administration has attempted to reassure the public, dismissing the sightings as nothing more than a result of relaxed drone regulations or mistaken observations of manned aircraft. However, this explanation has done little to quell the growing unease.
Enter John Ferguson, the founder of Saxon Aerospace, a company specializing in military-grade drones. In a viral TikTok video, Ferguson offered his expert opinion on the mystery drones, suggesting they could be equipped with advanced sensors designed to detect radioactive material. He pointed to a previous incident where drones were seen flying across multiple states, allegedly searching for missing radioactive material. Ferguson argued that the only plausible reason for drones to fly at night and at such low altitudes would be to “smell something on the ground”—and it could be gas leaks or, more alarmingly, radioactive material.
Ferguson’s theory gained traction when it was shared by a self-proclaimed RF engineer on the social media platform X. The engineer, whose account has since been deleted, speculated that the drones could be equipped with high-purity germanium (HPGe) detectors, a technology commonly used to identify nuclear radiation. This speculation was further fueled by data from the Geiger Counter World Map, which showed elevated radiation levels in New York City during the same time frame as the drone sightings.
Despite the mounting evidence and expert opinions, the Biden administration has remained tight-lipped about the true nature of these drones. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has dismissed the concerns, attributing the sightings to relaxed drone regulations and mistaken observations of manned aircraft. However, this explanation fails to address the growing body of evidence suggesting a more serious purpose behind the drones.
The administration’s reluctance to provide concrete answers has only fueled speculation and mistrust. Critics argue that the government’s lack of transparency is reminiscent of past instances where public concerns were downplayed or ignored, only for later events to prove those concerns valid – something we saw time and time again during the pandemic. The public deserves to know the truth about what these drones are doing in their skies, especially if they are being used to detect a potential nuclear threat.
The mystery of the drones over New Jersey is far from resolved. While the Biden administration continues to insist there is nothing to worry about, the theory that these drones could be nuclear sniffers cannot be easily dismissed. The combination of expert analysis, elevated radiation levels, and the government’s evasive responses points to a story that is far more complex—and potentially more concerning—than what we are being told.
It’s time for the Biden administration to come clean. The American people deserve transparency, especially when it comes to matters of national security. If these drones are indeed searching for radioactive material, the public has a right to know – and if not, the administration needs to provide a more convincing explanation for the sightings that have left so many residents on edge.
In the meantime, the mystery drones continue to fly, leaving more questions than answers in their wake.
