Some readers get offended when I talk about the “American Pravda” media being the biggest enemy of the United States these days.
Well, when there are numerous examples to back up the claim, I’m not sure what other conclusions a thinking person can make.
Here’s another one.
Late last week Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein announced that a grand jury had returned an indictment against 13 Russians and three Russian firms for allegedly sowing political discourse during the last presidential election and in the weeks thereafter (ostensibly to help President Donald J. Trump).
The alleged attempts to disrupt American democracy included organizing pro- and anti-Trump rallies in New York City the Saturday following election day Nov. 8, 2016.
As reported by NewsBusters, a pair of American media outlets that have savaged Trump and his administration on an hourly basis ever since he won (often by publishing or pushing fake news) actually helped the Russian trolls accomplish their mission: CNN and MSNBC.
Surprise!
NewsBusters notes:
A check of their November 12 coverage showed both CNN and MSNBC gave enthusiastic coverage to the Russian-organized anti-Trump rally that day, with live reports every hour. Correspondents celebrated the idea that it was “a love rally,” and repeated the marchers’ anti-Trump mantras, such as: “We reject the President-elect.”
While the two liberal anti-Trump networks offered heavy coverage of the anti-Trump rally throughout the day, a check of coverage between noon and 5:00 p.m. Eastern found that the Fox News Channel offered only a short re-cap (66 seconds) at the start of their 4:00 p.m. Eastern hour.
Needless to say, when he was president-elect, Barack Obama did not get the same negative reception or wall-to-wall coverage of the Russian-induced negative reception on these same media outlets.
Mind you, CNN and MSNBC were not aware at the time who might have been behind the protests (though you’d expect media organizations to find out by asking questions…right?). But both networks nevertheless savored the distinctly anti-Trump messages and slogans.
At one juncture, NewsBusters reported, MSNBC anchor Alex Witt gave credence to some of the hyper-alarmist rhetoric being tossed about in the streets.
“That woman, when she’s saying she’s concerned that black people will be shot in the street … Is that a legitimate concern for her? Because that’s scary.”
Oh, for….
And of course, the correspondent, Morgan Radford, gave the ridiculous notion some legs by responding, “Alex, it’s not only a legitimate concern for her, it’s a legitimate concern for a lot of people I’ve spoken to… They’re wondering if this [Trump’s election] is almost a license to carry in terms of hate.”
What’s really disturbing is that while these networks don’t have many viewers, they still have some viewers, and those viewers actually believe this BS. (Related: EXPOSED: Left-wing “fact checkers” are nothing more than sleazy censors of content they don’t like.)
These two networks weren’t the only useful idiots used by the Russian troll factories. Director Michael Moore was in on it too, actually attending the NYC anti-Trump event.
“At today’s Trump Tower protest. He wouldn’t come down. Here’s my Facebook Live coverage,” he tweeted, featuring a picture of him surrounded by other protestors.

The protest, called the “Trump is NOT my president rally,” did not draw a lot of people. NYPD officials estimated the crowd size at about 25,000, The National Sentinel reported.
“But clearly, we have a massive scandal in the making here: Michael Moore worked with Russian sources to make America’s political scene more chaotic,” noted Ben Shapiro, editor of The Daily Wire. “Just wait until we find out how many of Moore’s Broadway tickets were bought up by the Kremlin.”
Hey CNN, MSNBC, Moore? You know what Vladimir Putin loves most about America? It’s full of useful idiots like you.
