It’s become more and more clear that special counsel Robert Mueller’s “witch hunt” probe is nothing more than a political operation aimed at protecting the Deep State by undermining POTUS Donald Trump’s presidency.
The latest evidence of this comes in a newly released report from the Justice Department’s Office of Inspector General. The comprehensive report contains new bombshells revealing how special counsel Robert Mueller worked behind the scenes to protect two of his former team members, Peter Strzok and his one-time paramour, Lisa Page.
“The Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) initiated this investigation upon being notified of a gap in text message data collection during the period December 15, 2016, through May 17, 2017, from Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) mobile devices assigned to FBI employees Peter Strzok and Lisa Page relevant to a matter being investigated by the OIG’s Oversight and Review Division,” says a synopsis of the report.
“Specifically, the OIG’s Cyber Investigations Office (CYBER) was asked to attempt recovery of these missing text messages for the referenced period from FBI issued mobile devices issued to Strzok and Page,” the synopsis continued.
The DoJ IG was tasked with attempting to locate text data in response to the cell phones issued to Strzok and Page being wiped clean of any and all data in what some suspect was an overt attempt to cover-up damaging information.
You may recall that special counsel Robert Mueller brought Strzok on as part of his team investigating “Russian collusion.” Strzok, who was recently fired from the bureau, was let go by Mueller after news broke detailing his plot to thwart then-GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump from becoming president. When Mueller dismissed him, Strzok turned in an iPhone issued to him by Mueller; it was then summarily wiped clean, reset to factory settings thus erasing any and all data contained on the device.
Page’s iPhone was also wiped clean, albeit by a different agency within the Department of Justice. Now, as reported by Jordan Schachtel of Conservative Review, some are now questioning whether the actions to wipe both phones clean amounts to criminal obstruction by Mueller and his team. (Related: CONFIRMED: Barack Obama was running the entire Spygate operation that violated federal law to spy on Trump campaign officials.)
So Mueller's team wiped ALL of the data off of Peter Strzok's iPhone after determining "it contained no substantive text messages." Given what we know about Strzok, this smells like quite the coverup. Time for Congress to step in?https://t.co/mOgpBbDVO4 pic.twitter.com/9w2mEPK64C

At the very least it was questionable, especially since both Strzok and Page once worked with the special counsel’s office and both were dismissed after their anti-Trump texts were discovered and publicized via news reports.
Nevertheless, because data from both phones were destroyed, the DoJ IG’s office was tasked with attempting to recover the lost data, which it did: The IG’s report notes that investigators have recovered some 19,000 text messages from other devices Page and Strzok used during the aforementioned time gap.
As The National Sentinel reports, the data was recovered on Galaxy S5 Smartphones that both were using.
The discovery did not escape the attention of POTUS Trump, who has been targeted by the Deep State since before he took office.
Wow, 19,000 Texts between Lisa Page and her lover, Peter S of the FBI, in charge of the Russia Hoax, were just reported as being wiped clean and gone. Such a big story that will never be covered by the Fake News. Witch Hunt!

“Wow, 19,000 Texts between Lisa Page and her lover, Peter S of the FBI, in charge of the Russia Hoax, were just reported as being wiped clean and gone. Such a big story that will never be covered by the Fake News. Witch Hunt!” he wrote.
The discovery of the missing texts was first reported in January. In a letter to congressional committees, DoJ IG Michael Horowitz noted that at the time his office’s efforts were “ongoing.”
The gap was a crucial period in time, as it came during POTUS Trump’s transition into the White House, as the so-called “Russian collusion” story was being unleashed, and during James Comey’s firing and the naming of Mueller as special counsel.
It’s going to be very interesting to find out what else Strzok and Page were discussing during a time when various plots were being hatched to undermine our president, as well as who else was involved and to what degree.
